Frequently asked questions
- How many times can one person vote?
- Voting leaves a record in your browser, so you cannot vote again on the same device and browser. That check is browser-based, though, so a different device or a private window could vote again โ treat this as a lightweight poll for small groups, not a tamper-proof one.
- Do results show up in real time?
- Yes. Everyone who has the link open, including whoever created the poll, sees the bar chart and percentages update the instant another person votes.
- Can I change the question or options after the poll starts?
- No, they cannot be edited. To change them, press "New Poll" and build one from scratch.
- How long does a poll stay open?
- Poll rooms are cleaned up automatically 7 days after creation. Within that window, anyone with the link can reopen it to see results at any time.
