About this tool
Special Characters gathers frequently used symbols across 8 categories โ arrows, dots/bullets, brackets/quotes, math/units, currency, punctuation, stars/hearts, and circled letters and numbers โ so you can copy any of them with a single click, without hunting through a character map for symbols that are not on your keyboard.
How to use
- Browse the category you need.
- Click a character to copy it to your clipboard instantly (a checkmark confirms it).
- Recently copied characters collect in a separate row at the top for quick reuse.
- Paste it (Ctrl+V / Cmd+V) wherever you need it.
- Tap "Play with friends" to get an invite link โ the recently-copied list stays in sync with whoever opens it, live. When someone picks a character, it briefly flashes on your screen too.
Frequently asked questions
- How many circled letters and numbers are included?
- Circled digits โ -โฉ, circled Latin letters โโโ, and a handful of circled Korean jamo ใ ใกใข are provided. For a wider range, combine this with your OS character map or Unicode input.
- Where does the clicked character get copied to?
- It is copied directly to your clipboard. This requires clipboard permission in your browser; the button briefly shows a checkmark (โ) when the copy succeeds.
- Does this include Korean consonants or emoji?
- No, this tool focuses on symbols like arrows, brackets, and math signs. For emoji, use the "Emoji & Icons" tool instead.
- Is the character I picked logged on a server?
- No. Clicking and copying happen entirely in your browser and are never sent to a server. The one exception is while a "Play with friends" room is open: the picked character passes through the server briefly so it can be relayed live to the other screen. It is only used to relay it, not stored anywhere.
- Can I use this with friends?
- Yes. Tap "Play with friends" to get an invite link โ the recently-copied list updates live for whoever opens it. When someone clicks a character, it briefly flashes on everyone else's screen too, so you can see what they just picked.
The recently-copied list resets when you reload or reopen this page.
